The Boston Celtics host the Golden State Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals at TD Garden on Wednesday, June 8.
Golden State tied the series against Boston with a blowout 107-88 win at home in Game 2.
Returning to the Finals after two seasons, the Warriors looked hungrier than ever as they upped the ante in the series.
Meanwhile, the Celtics will try to redeem themselves at home. Having stolen a game on the road, they will need to defend their home turf if they are to clinch their first title since 2008.
Golden State Warriors injury report
The Warriors have had their injury run-ins this season. However, their team looks healthy heading into Game 3 except for one player.
Andre Iguodala was listed as questionable for the game. The veteran, who also missed Game 2, was ruled out with knee swelling.
Boston Celtics injury report
Boston was lucky on the injury front in the Finals. Although Marcus Smart is an ongoing concern due to his quad and ankle injuries in the playoffs, the Celtics are pretty solid.
However, Robert Williams is listed as doubtful for Game 3 due to left knee pain.

Golden State Warriors predicted lineups vs. Boston Celtics
Golden State Warriors
Golden State will likely stick to their traditional roster for Game 3. Considering their primary rotation is healthy, the team won’t see any changes.
The starting backcourt will feature Steph Curry at point guard and Klay Thompson at shooter. The pair will be joined by the frontcourt trio of Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green and Kevon Looney.
Off the bench, Gary Payton II and Jordan Poole will spend a lot of time in the backcourt. Otto Porter Jr. will also play a valuable role as a scorer off the bench.
The Warriors have used Nemanja Bjelica in the last two games, but sparingly. He can also see game time.
Boston Celtics
The Celtics find themselves in a similar situation to the Warriors. Given the seriousness of the situation, Boston won’t experiment too much on their lineup.
The starting backcourt will include Marcus Smart at point guard and Jaylen Brown at shooter. They will be joined by the frontcourt trio of Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Robert Williams.
Considering Williams is listed as questionable, Boston could see Grant Williams enter the starting 5 as a power forward.
Off the bench, Derrick White and Payton Pritchard can benefit from valuable minutes in the backcourt. The Celtics also saw a few productive minutes from Daniel Theis. If Williams’ minutes are limited, Theis could have a bigger role to play as a rim protector and stretch big.
