South Korea will be looking to bounce back from a string of mixed results when they face Egypt at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on Tuesday.
South Korea suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat to Brazil in their first match in this international friendly set. They suffered from a lack of discipline at the back but did well to get past Chile 2-0 a few days later.
It looked like they would fall to another defeat but they came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Paraguay thanks to second-half goals from Son Heung-min and Jung Woo-young.
Once again, the South Korean defense looks vulnerable and coach Paulo Bento will ask his squad to do a better job against Egypt on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Egypt will be without their main man Mohamed Salah for the friendly against South Korea. Egypt looked very toothless in attack in Salah’s absence, but as was the case with South Korea’s defence, Pharaoh couldn’t be ignored.
Egypt lost 2-0 to Ethiopia in the AFCON 2023 qualifiers last Thursday. They only managed three shots and one shot on target despite having 57% possession. Having lost three of their last five matches, Egypt are desperately looking for a breath of fresh air against South Korea.

In the absence of Mohamed Salah, Egypt will likely struggle against South Korea. They are in poor form but South Korea have not been able to give a good performance of themselves either in this international friendly.
But we still expect South Korea to come out top and get back to winning ways on Tuesday.
